Sizing and Socks
Merrell is known for footwear that fits right out of the box. It is important for
the boots or shoes to fit correctly and comfortably at the time of purchase.
Sizing: The best starting point for sizing is to reference the
customer’s normal shoe size.
Socks: When we design the fit of our footwear we consider sock
thickness. In choosing socks for Merrell footwear, the following guide should apply:
- Hiking Boots: Heavyweight, thick, dense socks, with or without a liner sock.
- Multi-Sport: Light- or medium-weight, dense socks.
- Casual: Light- or medium-weight, dense socks or sockless.
